Great patch for my crustpants! Careful if ironing with this ink! Pin it, use the lowest possible setting and pressure to set it loosely to tack it to the project then sew 🧵 🪡 it on for security.

For some reason I have been drawn to safety pins, especially rather gigantic ones - since infancy. Perhaps I am a punk-ish senior citizen who never outgrew the big plastic (inoperable) safety pin toy that I had way back then…. My theory is that safety pins serve to draw together and fasten aspects of my torn world . . . And so I have collected large safety pins for decades -
Of course, the safety pin has also come to represent SAFETY, as in helping others…,as in being of direct care service to human beings as a public employee…as I am now nearly 44 years in…

I am not certain of where this beautiful — I mean that! — patch will be sewn, but it has genuine CONNECTION to me!!
