Stitched edgeOverlocked all the way round in black thread, for a neat, hard-wearing edge. Or a plain cut edge for less.

Every design on a sheet prints in the same ink. Want some sheets in another colour? It's £20 per ink change: 20 sheets as 5 red, 5 white and 10 blue is 2 changes, £40 on top. Need more colours on one patch? Go full colour.

Every patch has a 7mm border round the edge for sewing, so the print area is a little smaller than the patch. Black heavy poly cotton, sew-on.
Dispatch and delivery
- Dispatched within 10 working days. Every patch is printed and cut here in Aberdeen.
- UK: Royal Mail Tracked 48 from £5, worked out by weight at checkout (a sheet of patches weighs about 36g). Ordering shirts or badges too? It all goes in one box, with one delivery charge.
- Outside the UK? Orders up to 2kg (55 sheets of patches) can go worldwide by Royal Mail International Standard. Bigger orders are UK only. The order summary in the builder tells you if yours can go.
- Free collection in Aberdeen by arrangement. Email mail@chaoscreations.scot first to arrange a time: Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm (Fridays until 2pm).
Your artwork
- Files: PNG, JPG, SVG, PDF or AI, up to 20 MB. 300 dpi is ideal.
- Screen printed: one solid ink colour, so we print the shape of your design. Solid shapes and lines work best, not photos or shading.
- Full colour: prints your design as it is. Black parts won't show up on the black fabric.
- It fills the print area and keeps its shape. Move it, shrink it or turn the patch in the builder. See-through parts show the black fabric.
- No proofs: we print exactly what you upload, so check spelling and layout before you order.
- Only upload designs you have the right to print.
The small print
- All custom orders are non-refundable and can't be cancelled once placed.
- You're responsible for your artwork, including spelling mistakes.
- If we make a mistake or a patch is faulty, we'll put it right.
- Discount codes and offers can't be used on custom merch.
Questions
What's a sheet?
One A3 print, cut into patches: 12, 8, 4 or 2 patches, or 1 back patch, depending on the size. 20 sheets of 10 × 10cm patches is 240 patches.
Can I have different designs?
Yes. Each sheet has a slot for every patch, so you can put a different design in each slot: up to 12 on 10 × 10cm patches. Every slot needs a design, and every sheet is the same.
Screen printed or full colour?
Screen printing is one solid ink colour and costs less, from 20 sheets. Full colour (DTF) prints any colours, photos and shading, from 10 sheets.
Can I have more than one ink colour?
Each sheet is printed in one ink colour, but you can print some sheets in other colours for £20 per ink change. For more than one colour on the same patch, go full colour.
What's the stitched edge?
The edge is overlocked all the way round in black thread. It's neater and harder-wearing than a cut edge.
Are there any set-up fees?
No. The prices include everything. The only extras are ink changes, if you want them, and delivery, or collect for free in Aberdeen.
Can you post outside the UK?
Yes, orders up to 2kg (55 sheets of patches) go worldwide by Royal Mail International Standard. Bigger orders are UK only. The builder tells you if yours can go.
Do you send proofs?
No. We print exactly what you upload, so check spelling and layout before you order.
